Our Pilates class is one of the most popular classes here at Free State Fitness. This class is a great mixture of slow, low impact movements to promote balance, strength, flexibility and muscle tone. This is not a high-intensity class, however it is great for someone just starting a program or for someone with old nagging injuries!
Our HIIT (high-intensity interval training) class is a great, 30 min class in which you give an all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, with little to no recovery periods. This type of training uses light or no weight, and includes a large variety of explosive but simple movements! Great for a quick high calorie-burning workout for ALL fitness levels!!
Everyone knows that “lifting weights” is not for everyone. For those of you who like to disguise your workout by doing something fun, come join us in our Zumba classes. These classes are an aerobic exercise class that is based on Latin American, and other dance movements. Come dance to some great high-energy music, and don’t worry if you don’t have dance experience, we pride ourselves on creating a judgment free atmosphere and you will catch on fast!!!
Our cardio kickboxing class is a crowd favorite. This high intensity, 1 hour class involves both cardio vascular movements to keep your heart rate elevated, along with the amazing stress relief and core workout of using kickboxing techniques to punch the heck out of a bag!! Come relieve some stress from the workday, or just a bad day, with this great group fitness class.
